Dental Fashionistas win at AIIMS Delhi
PULSE the annual festival of AIIMS Delhi among the largest 7 day socio-cultural literary sports festival in South Asia – the name itself evokes a sense of euphoria in the mind of any medical student in India. Having hundreds of participants from all over the country, PULSE had something in store for everyone – sports fests, the so-cult fest ZEPHYR, FASH HAUTE and the literary fest – OTAKU. The biggest attraction of the event was the Fashion Show and the star nights featuring Mohit Chauhan,SalimSulaiman, and Pentagram, which left the crowd awestruck.
The fashion show was the highlight of the evening. Ofcourse walking on such a huge platform with brilliant lights while competing against others is tough, but all the 10 teams did a fantastic job.
The judges of the show were Seema Dhawan (Abraxas Lifestyle’s Executive Editor), Srishti Rana (Miss Asia Pacific 2013) and Dr. Anurag (AIIMS). The winning team was Bakulam.

The winning team was – Bakulam (A Sanskrit word for blossom unwavering the well being of womanhood). It began in the year 2012 through the efforts and vision of Priyanjali Datta. Her silent aspirations of creating concepts and working with those into fashion – pushed her to go out there and look for similar people. They are now a team of 14 and their current theme is “Breast Cancer Awareness”. They follow the “Color PINK” protocol to express the remorse and pain of the victims. Awareness comprises of many components, out of which ‘ self-examination’ is the prime one.
