Sand SS 2022 is called ‘Eunoia’ which in Greek means beautiful thinking and balance of mind.
The new collection introduces a new colour palette based on the idea of colour therapy which are soft blue, sage and terracotta . They have introduced a new plant based fabric which is the Lotus, it is made with the waste of a lotus which grows against conditions like never before.. The fabric is very cooling in nature and has a light sheen to it making it a beautiful transitional fabric that you can wear for your everyday office wear into occasion wear as well.
With this new collection, SAND is introducing the occasion wear segment like never before and revisits it’s core and reiterated its unique identity as a homegrown, Indian, one-of-a-kind brand, with a strong, female, powerhouse at it’s helm. This new segment consists of hand beaded jumpsuit, bandeaus with shell details.
This collection features a plethora audacious silhouettes and cuts, appearing on a range of flowy & structured jumpsuits, dresses and corsets keeping in mind the brand ethos of being size fluid, even when we are doing structured outfits we are doing elasticated backs and waists that give you the room to increase or decrease 2 inches. Each piece in the collection incorporates elements that push the boundaries and make it a statement piece from their new belts as an accessory and new sandals, your new basics on the basis of the new colour story, terracotta sage, soft blue and white. The embroidery patterns or the beaded patterns are inspired by Scandinavian prints which are abstract and geometric which are followed on the belts as well as the beaded jumpsuits and the dresses. Sand hasbeen inspired from travel, international weather and fashion influencers.
SANDs by Shirin’s summer collection is all about warm hues, cosy fabrics and refined silhouettes. SAND plays with skin soft, lightweight textured woollen fabric that is voguish and comfortable. The new collection, outfits can be worn from resort beaches, office wear to occasion wear & are occasion fluid. They have also introduced a new linen which is a twisted, thick linen which resembles the texture fabric and weight of a jute. It is a small batch fabric. SAND is also launching it in a limited edition with only ten pieces each and three other garments which are a short dress, crop top and a skirt. Handcrafted in our signature patterns with an elasticated back and side zip, for size fluidity. Done in our brand colours, this collection goes perfectly with all of our pants, skirts and overlays.
