On the launch of the new Summer’ 22 collection, Founder & Creative Head of NEEDLEDUST, Shirin Mann says, “Wilderness jutti was one of our most beautiful and satisfying design processes till date. With months of experimenting with extensive research and development, we bring to you a jutti made with real wild flowers- to make one of a kind extraordinary shoe. A mix of wild flowers are hand picked, dried and hand pressed, to then carefully secure each flower and twig on a natural muslin base, by our design team. Once the flowers are carefully secured on the cloth, it is lined with a sheer fabric, creating a glazed shield, locking in the flowers between two layers, helping it retain its shape without any withering. The designed piece is then carefully sewed by our skilled artisans to make the most exquisite shoe. Check our instagram page for this beautiful process captured in a film.”
The new collection will be available across NEEDLEDUST’s flagship stores as well as online on NeedleDust.com.
