Blockbusters waiting to be exploded
So many films have already been released this year, with a few managed to prove a point and others made a dull appearance. The bigger the star is, the more we expect from their movies. Let us have a look at what these stars have in store for us?
- Salman Khan- There is no doubt that his movies are the most awaited ones in Bollywood. As soon as he signs the new project, his countless fans start waiting for the release of his movie and he never makes them feel disappointed. This year he has two big movies lined up with the likes of Bajrangi Bhaijaan with Kareena Kapoor Khan and the biggest of all is Sooraj Barjatya’s Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.
- Amitabh Bachchan- Shamitabh may have not garnered moolahs at the box office, but critics have praised the veteran’s acting ability. Amitabh’s next release is with Deepika Padukone named Piku which is directed by Shoojit Sircar.
- Akshay Kumar- There was a time when his movies were not going well with the audiences, but he made a comeback with the series of hits. He is one man of Bollywood who is never short of movies. This year, he has plenty of releases like Brothers with Siddharth Malhotra, Gabbar with Shruti Haasan and his most awaited movie Singh Is Bling, the sequel of his hit movie Singh Is King.
- Shah Rukh Khan- King Khan is also leaving no stone unturned to make this a successful year for him as he is coming up with not one but two movies. He is playing himself in one of his movies Fan which would be directed by Maneesh Sharma. He has one more movie lined up for this year, an untitled film with Rohit Shetty which is expected to be big.
- Ranbir Kapoor- So what if Roy failed to make a mark at the box office, Ranbir has bigger plans in store and that would be enough to make a grand comeback. Ranbir has three more movies coming up this year as he is staring in Anurag Kashyap’s Bombay Velvet, Anurag Basu’s Jagga Jasoos with rumoured girlfriend Katrina Kaif and Imitiaz Ali’s Tamasha with Deepika Padukone, shooting of which is currently going on in South Delhi.
- John Abraham- He has also tasted success with his recent movies became a hit and was well appreciated by the viewers and surprisingly by the critics too. This year, he has many films lined up for release starting from Welcome Back in May following with Rocky Handsome in October and ending with Hera Pheri 3 in December.
- Shahid Kapoor- After the success of Haider, the actor is geared up for the release of her next venture with Alia Bhatt titles Shaandaar. He is also working in the movie , which is probably scheduled to be released next year.
- Varun Dhawan- After the recent success of Badlapur, the star is coming up with the film based on dance ABCD 2 with Shraddha Kapoor, which is a sequel of ABCD that was directed by dance choreographer Remo D Souza.
- Kangna Ranaut- The success of Queen has garnered her much praise from every nook and corner of the world. The queen this year is also coming up with two more releases. Tanu Weds Manu 2, the sequel of her successful film Tanu Weds Manu which is also starring R Madhavan. She is also teaming up with Imran Khan for Katti Batti which is scheduled to be released in September.
- Aishwaraya Rai Bachchan- She has been away from the industry for so many years, but she is making a comeback this year and with a bang. She has signed many projects and one her projects Jazbaa with Imran Khan and Shabana Azmi is scheduled to be released in this year.
