The Miss Global International Pageant began in 2004 as Miss Commonwealth and was later changed to reflect the interest expressed by non-Commonwealth countries to compete. Since then, it is the first and only international beauty pageant to be hosted in Jamaica. In fact, the event has been staged over the years without a hiatus.

2016 marks its 12th staging, “we are looking ahead to have a special event to mark this milestone anniversary. We are proud to announce that our history-making 10th anniversary pageant was held at the prestigious RIU Resort in beautiful Montego Bay, Jamaica in 2014.  The 11th Edition was held in the beautiful twin Republic of Trinidad & Tobago 2015”

One of the remarkable things about pageants is the gratitude shown by the contestants for the opportunity and experience which has transformed at times nervous contestants into confident, poised young ladies, that move on to become leaders in their communities. We offer grooming lessons and tours of various tourist attractions and even courtesy calls with various leaders of government and business. Since its inception, we have hosted shows at the Jamaica Pegasus, Grand Palladium, Sunset Beach Resort & Spa, Hotel RIU & the Montego Bay Convention Centre and have produced several queens from all over the world such as; Zimbabwe, Trinidad, Bahamas, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, England, Singapore & Martinique.

There is always  an auction and proceeds goes towards a charitable organization. Mr. Ramchandani wishes to contribute maximum His aim is to boost tourism by bringing at least 1,000 visitors to the island by bringing 50 contestants from all over the World to participate in this historic event

Mr. Ramchandani would like to thank His Excellency, Governor General, Sir Patrick Allen, Prime Minister Most Honorable Andrew Holness, Leader of Opposition, Mrs. Portia Simpson- Miller and the Jamaica Tourist Board for their blessings and endorsement over the years.

Reina Intercontinental is a Costa Rican based International beauty pageant produced by CR Conceptos event company led by Mr. José Vásconez.

Aimed at providing a platform for feminine talents, the pageant also provides a good learning and understanding opportunities for girls across the world to bridge, cultures and generation gaps.

Reina Intercontinental hunts for a Beach Goddess who celebrates fitness of a woman in any size category. The girls are also judged on their personality and poise through public speaking and management interviews; which forms a main segment of the contest. The jury also evaluates the scenic projection ability of a girl not just about the places she visits in Costa Rica but also locations in her own country.

Reina intercontinental strongly fights against all sorts of bullying that exists in society. In 2014, Reina Intercontinental featured the mentorship of Miss Universe 2014 top 10 finalist- Johanna Solano.

With participation from around the globe in the Miss, Teen and Petite categories, Reina Intercontinental makes sure that the complete beauty of a woman is celebrated to the fullest.
