Being one the most illegally downloaded TV shows of all times, Game of Thrones is more than just a TV show. Just because Game of Thrones is a fantasy show, it doesn’t mean that it does not teach us anything. It throws light on a number of realities, which we otherwise tend to be unaware of, or just simply ignore. The rules not only apply to the seven kingdoms but also to the real world beyond. The Game of Thrones cast teaches us a lot about life.
It is the weaker sex which actually runs the whole show: Girls might be the weaker sex, but they are the one who control everything. They might be the silent and the delicate type, but they will wrap you around their little finger, and before you know you are following them, obeying them like a tame pooch. We might like to believe, but the world isn’t male-centric. Be it the Daenerys Targaryen, who commands large armies, or the little Arya Stark, who is determined to take revenge, or even Cersei Lannister, all of them control men like they were pooches.
Small doesn’t always mean weak: Arya Stark and Tyrion Lannister might seem to be the weakest, at the beginning of the series. But as the story progressed, both of them established themselves as strong characters. There is so much more to them than meets the eye. Be it Arya Stark getting killed three people for the general good or Tyrion, trying to save his family, both are lovable characters. They will fight for what they think is right and what they believe in.
Read Read Read!: There is a scene in the series where Tyrion Lannister says that a mind needs a book just as the sword needs a whetstone to keeps it edge. This line cannot be more apt. In today’s world where we use more of our brains, than the sword, it is imperative to read a lot. These days internet, the greatest library of all times, is on our fingertips, we should make use of this gift more wisely.
