Reasons why Jon Snow might still be alive
Last week the makers of the hit TV series Game of Thrones released a poster which caused a lot of uproar in the GOT community. They released a poster from their Northern Ireland set over the weekend, giving the irrefutable proof that Jon Snow is alive and that he is back from the dead.
This has created a lot of buzz and the fans of the show are debating more restlessly than ever on how exactly he might return?
There are theories that point out to the fact that it might be just a flashback or something in which Jon Snow is there. But there are some key points, which point out to the fact that it is not a flashback.
Long Claw – In the images that were released, Jon is carrying the Long Claw which was given to him by Lord Commander Mormont of the Night’s Watch.
Stark Armour – Jon is also seen wearing Stark’s armour in one the images. It seems that he has finally left his boring, yet deadly job of guarding the wall. He is wearing the same armour his father was wearing right until his death.
It will also be interesting to watch whether he will bring back the name Stark to the Westeros and take back North. This makes it more exciting and interesting because seeping in glory is not what Jon Snow does quite often, in fact, it is not his trait. Also, if he is back, we are guessing that the makers will also try and throw some light onto his lineage.
Melisandre is his best bet to resurrect him – In the books Melisandre had told that he should be careful of the people around him and that he might need her in the future. She appeared to predict Jon’s murder by his own men and hinted that she might be of use when the time comes.
Jon Snow’s nature will change – Remember Beric Dondarrion? He died six times and was revived by Thoros of Myr through prayers to the Lord of Light, but each resurrection left holes in his soul and his memory, so if you think that old Jon Snow hated fun, the post-dead Jon might be even gloomier.
