What makes Kejriwal different from other politicians…
With the Delhi Assembly Election just around the corner, the capital is bustling with political rallies all over. Certain parties are going over the top when it comes to show of power, while there are others, which are conducting their political rallies in a much more somber manner. The Aam Adami Party which was launched two years ago, to battle out the big guns of the Indian politics, is all set for the battle for the seat of Delhi. Leading the party is Arvind Kejriwal. Since the time Kejriwal has come into politics, he has gone to places where no other modern Indian politician has gone before.
The middle class connect: Arvind Kejriwal has a connect with the middle class of the country, which over the years has been ignored quite often by the other political parties. For the first time in years, the middle class actually has a voice of its own. This is perhaps because of the reason that Kejriwal himself belongs to a middle class family, and understands their problems. This can be a major reason why Kejriwal can win the Delhi elections this year.
Brought up issues: We know for a fact that if Kejriwal comes to power, he will make sure that the corruption goes. He is a known hardliner when it comes to fight against corruption. He will go to any length to fight against it. Also the transparency with which AAP works is something which is being appreciated by all.
Good Intent: People usually say that the experience counts more than the intent, but in today’s world the intent matters the most. People want politicians who deliver what they promise, and Kejriwal had done quite a number of things which he has promised. Hence, people are willing to vote for Kejriwal.
Fearless: Since Kejriwal functions in a very transparent manner, he is not afraid. He is quite fearless, and is open to public debates, which a lot of people want. In fact it is his opponents who quite often shy from an open debate.
