Mere Aansoo – A Tribute to Nirbhaya.
Bollywood paid its tribute Nirbhaya on December 16 gang-rape victim ‘Nirbhaya’ by releasing a song in her name yesterday. The song is produced by Globus Event Management Pvt. Ltd.
The song, Mere Aansoo, is sung by singer-actor Salma Agha, and marked her comeback after a decade. The video of the song was shot on December 6 and 7 at the Red Fort, New Delhi and various other locations featuring Agha, Lalit Verma, Zoya Sherwani and other actors.The song has been directed by Rakhi Sawant’s brother, Rakesh Sawant.
The grand launch of the song took place on December 16, marking one year of the unfortunate incident, at Constutional Club, Rafi Marg in New Delhi amidst the presence of Agha, Rakhi Sawant, Member of Parliament Mahesh Giri and many Bollywood celebrities and leading politicians.
