Roy 2015 Movie story|review|synopsis
Since the release of the trailer of Roy in December 2014, movie enthusiasts have been eagerly waiting for the romantic thriller eagerly. The movie released in India on February 13th 2015. Roy is a story of three individuals whose lives are intertwined by the incidents that happen around them.
Roy (Ranbir Kapoor) is this master burglar, who manages to evade the authorities every time they try to catch him. On the other hand Kabir Khan (Arjun Rampal) is a film maker, who cashes on the exploits of Roy. Khan’s films are based Roy’s life and his robberies. Jacqueline Fernandez plays a dual role of another film maker who also happens to be Khan’s girlfriend, Ayesha.

Talking about the movie, it is a nice movie with a good storyline, but one place where it is faulty is the timeline. The length of the movie can go against it. There are some movies, where there is not point to stretch the story line, Vikramjit Singh has done exactly that. Many felt that the movie was a bit long for its own good. Some of the locations used in the movie are breathtaking and soothing to the eye. If you are going in for the movie because of its action sequences, you might be disappointed, because there aren’t many. Although the movie isn’t fast paced, Singh has managed to build-up the suspense in the movie.
As far as the performances are concerned, Arjun Rampal has done a good job of portraying Kabir Khan, as an arrogant, proud and a successful filmmaker. Ranbir Kapoor has justified his role of a mysterious and an intelligent thief, although his presence on screen is less. Jacqueline, apart from adding glamour to the film, has definitely proven her mettle as an actress. She has proven that she is not all about looks, but has some substance as well.
