Women often face the dilemma when it comes to buying the right heels for themselves. Women do know which heels to buy, but quite often don’t know how to buy them or choose them. There will be questions on which heels to spend more on, and which heels not to buy.
Here we give you a few tips which you should remember while buying heels.
Measure your feet: These days people tend not to measure their feet when they buy a new pair of shoes. Always measure your feet size before you buy heels. Good shoe stores have instruments that help you measure the size of your feet.
Different sizes, different brands: Just like in clothes, different brands have different sizes. Size 8 of one brand can be 7.5 in some other brand. Another very important thing is that you should know your European size because most of the good quality heels are European brands.
Walk in those shoes: It is imperative that before buying the heels, you wear them and walk in them. Also, make sure that the store has a good return policy. Most of the heels are comfortable to walk in initially, but later on they tend to become uncomfortable. Use the shoes for some time, before you actually commit to them.
Rubber layer on the heel: A layer of rubber on the heel will help you walk more comfortably and also it will prevent any slippage. Rubber provides grip to the heels, so it becomes safe to walk wearing them.
Sole of the heel: Generally the soles are stitched to the heel. In case the sole is stitched to the heels, make sure that all the stitches are even. They should look secure. In case the sole is glued to the heel then you have to make sure that there is no space between the sole and the heel. A sole should be seamless.
