Tips to fight obesity

In the recent years, one the biggest problem that the Indian middle class and above has faced is the problem of obesity. Blame it our lifestyle or the eating habits, these days many people in India are obese or on the verge of it. It is a disease which is slowly crawling into the Indian society. One of the major reasons why there are so many cases of obese people in our country is because of our eating habits. A majority of our eating habits form during our childhood.  A number of children have become obese; they form certain unhealthy habits early in the childhood which make them prone to become obese.

These days children hardly play outside; they are either cuddled up in front of the TV playing their video games or studying for the endless exams, all of these things add to it. Their lifestyle has become more stationary, there is no kind of physical activity.

As far as the eating habits are concerned, it is not only the kids who have irregular and bad eating habits; even the adults have bad eating habits. This is because of the lifestyle. Everyone is so involved in their work that they really do not see what they eat. This again in some cases leads to obesity. The best way to fight obesity is by changing the eating habits. Exercise alone won’t help, one has to see what he is eating. Obesity leads to many other problems such as heart, blood pressure and high sugar levels, hence it becomes more important to look after oneself.

Given below are a few tips that will help you fight obesity

After you eat your meals, drinking a glass of lukewarm water will help you to lose weight quickly. The only thing that you will have to remember is to drink the water after 45 minutes after your meals.

Papaya too helps in reducing weight. Make sure you eat a lot of green papaya or a ripe papaya. Papaya helps in reducing the fat content in the body.

Drinking warm water with fresh lemon squeeze and honey will help fight obesity.

One of the best ways to combat obesity is drinking green tea. It has a lot of anti-oxidants, which not only help fight obesity but they also help in keeping the skin young. If you have your green tea without sugar, it will benefit even more.

Apple cider vinegar is another way with which you can fight obesity. You can mix it with water and juices. Drinking apple cider with the juices or water will help in keeping the digestive in order and also reduce cholesterol levels in the body.

Also, drinking one glass of cold water mixed with two spoons of honey every day will help reduce fat in the body.

If you want to keep your metabolism right, then drinking cabbage juice is highly recommended.

You might be surprised at this one, but eating chilies is a great way of reducing body fat; the reason being that there is a certain substance found in chilies and black pepper which helps to reduce hunger.

Another drink which helps to fight obesity is having one spoon of mint juice mixed with two spoons of honey.
