Since the time Mia Khalifa has joined the porn industry she has been constantly in the limelight. She came into prominence when she acted in a porn video wearing a hijab. This act got the world’s attention. She soon became one of the top porn stars in the industry. But her act did not go down too well with many people. She even received a number of death threats.
Even her parents disowned her after they got to know that their daughter had become a porn actress. They issued a statement claiming that they had cut all ties with their daughter.
“We are probably paying a price of living away from our homeland; our kids had to adapt to societies that do not resemble our culture traditions and values. Hence, we emphasize that we disassociate ourselves from her actions which do not reflect her family beliefs, her upbringing on her true Lebanese roots. We hope that she comes back to her senses as he image does not honour the family or the homeland – Lebanon.”
“The channel approached a lot of people this time. Mia is also one of them. Talks are on with her and she too has shown interest. The modalities need to be worked out first,” a source told dna India.
This is not the first time a porn star will be entering the show. In a previous season former Indo-Canadian porn star, Sunny Leone also participated in the show. From there she launched her career in Bollywood. However, the difference between the two is that when Sunny Leone joined Bigg Boss she had stopped doing adult films, whereas, Mia Khalifa continues to do so.
After a lot of speculation, it is also confirmed that Salman Khan will be back as the host of Bigg Boss 9.
