Benelli BN-302
Benelli is one of Italy’s oldest motorcycle manufacturers and has a long storied history of making low capacity high performance bikes.Recently it has introduced thenew Beneli BN-302, powered by a 300cc parallel twin cylinder engine that develops a more than sufficient 37 BHP and 27 NM of torque. All that power on a bike that weighs 180 kg, guarantees a white knuckling performance.
Does it compete well?
With a priceof 3.5 Lakh, Benelli BN-302 will compete against solidly established motorcycles in our market, including the KTM RC390 and Suzuki Inazuma.Its chief competitor would be the Kawasaki ninja 300 .Having the Italian heritage,powerful BN-302 even undercuts the Japanese bikes.
What about comfort level?
With a low seat height, wide and high bars the riding position is designed for easy manoeuvrability and comfort which is marginally larger than the other bikes. All parts are of very high quality and allow the rider a very predictable and progressive handling.
Eye catching looks
A single glance at the Benelli BN-302 is enough to tell you that it has been targeted at young riders with Macho styling. It has an aggressive look with fat tyres on both ends supported by beefy suspension components, a smooth surface.The large v-shaped headlights complimented by the puny windscreen above are perfect aesthetic for this new generation. The dual disc and golden upside down forks gives it a hot and masculine personality. Benelli seems to have a “value for money” winner on their hands.
