May the odds(and evens) always be in your favour.
The Kejriwal sarkar has passed a law that plans to segregate traffic with a very unique filter, the number-plate being odd or even! A measure to curb the traffic is surely required.
We asked one of our readers and this is what he had to say.
“Being a Delhi resident, I must say all the noise and traffic makes Delhi pretty irritating. Places that we used to find solace are now filled with traffic jams and vulgar abuses. But will this measure be as effective as they think? Do people with only odd cars travel only three days a week? Will autos play fair when they know a man has no other options, won’t they charge extra? Is a classification as random as this suitable for all? What happens if I go out at 11:30 P.M, do I change my car midway? Will our needs for transport only arise on certain days?”.
These are some pressing questions they must answer and if the answers are meaningful, Why wouldn’t we call this a wonderful way to curb traffic.
We would even call Kejriwal a genius!
